In the generator, no movable part is available so EMF is not induced in the transformer. In a transformer, we take AC supply which will generate synsodial flux so flux is cut the conductor. Synsodial flux cut the core. In a generator, the core does not moveable but the magnetic field is move. When MMF cut the core then the voltage will be induced. We are not want to induced voltage. When voltage will be induced then current will generate so which current is generated who is eddy current.


Eddy current proportional to core resistance when we increase the core resistance then decrease the eddy current.
